SW138-UFC-Ultimate FabCenter
The newly designed Ultimate Fabcenter features the new High-Torque SmartSaw
module that is capable of continous duty cycle times to keep up with production
demand in growing stone shops. The SmartSaw has the ability to monitor torque feedback
and optimize the cutting speed thus extending blade life and producing the best
quality parts independent of stone density.
THE ULTIMATE “ONE MACHINE” SOLUTION - The concept of nest based manufacturing is
nothing new to other manufacturing industries, we have been designing and building
this type of equipment for years in our metal, wood, and composite division. One
of our customers suggested we design a single machine that can perform the whole
process start to finish. The result is a 100% digital solution with a single machine.
The FabCenter, built on the SW138 Stone Router is our latest innovation. Since high
tech equipment needs to be affordable to the small shop that only wants to process
4-5 slabs per day, we kept the price reasonable. We have delivered a solution that
will stand the test of time and allow small shops to join the digital revolution,
today.

Our Slab Saw is powered by our new High-Torque Saw Motor featuring SmartSaw Technology
and operated by
our time tested StoneVision software. This machine will allow you to cut slabs in
the morning and start processing parts before lunch. Two kitchens per day - 100%
digital. For even more productivity, learn about the Advanced FabCenter which uses
an automated shuttle table to move slabs in and out of the machine. The shuttle
table option will allow you to unload parts at the rear of the machine while the
router is making countertops increasing productivity and efficiency. With Flat-Edge Polish (FEP) Technology you can also polish your flat-edges on the
Northwood FabCenter which can eliminate yet another step. Just another way
Northwood is innovating in stone technologies.
While
our competition is talking about the one machine solution, we are bringing
one machine solutions to the American Fabricator. That is the Northwood Difference.
