The Northwood 5-Axis CNC Machining Center features a heavy-duty ram with up to 72" (1829mm) Z-Axis stroke, with a cast-iron 2-Axis knuckle that can accommodate many spindle types.  For the glass industry, Northwood provides a ISO40 taper spindle with integrated flood coolant capable or thur-the-tool natural water coolant as well as external high and low pressure halo coolant. 

Northwood also provides optional shuttle-table system that allows for pendulum operation.  While one table is loaded or unloaded the other table is positioned into the work envelope and machining cycle begins.  Northwood has integrated the shuttle worktable systems into the existing Moving Gantry or Double Column CNC Machining Center.
