Architectural Millwork or Building Stone Machining Centers

The Northwood 138-AM Router for the Architectural Millwork industry was designed with the same EDS (Extreme Duty Spindle) technology, but with 30″ of Z-Stroke.  The machine is specifically designed with the limestone fabricators’ needs in mind.  It also includes a larger ISO50 Taper spindle to accommodate larger tooling and provide even more power to the tooltip.

The ISO50 taper spindle is driven by a large Fanuc Servo motor that is capable of high torque at low RPMs.  This spindle is controlled by the advanced 0i-MF Fanuc CNC capable of multiple-axis simultaneous motion, allowing for the moving gantry style machine to create detailed and complex 3-dimensional (3D) carvings from natural stones.

Below is a part gallery that shows the ability of the Northwood CNC Machining Center in the Architectural Millwork or Building Stone industry.
