Ironside 3
The Ironside 3 is a three-axis traveling gantry engineered for panel processing and nested-based cabinet manufacturing. Cut woods — like MDF, particle board, laminates, plywood and melamine, as well as phenolics and plastics with speed and accuracy.
Combine the routing, sawing, milling and drilling performance you expect from a Northwood in a traveling gantry CNC machine. The tooling and table sizes are fully customizable, and start at 4-feet by 8-feet. Standard single-zone tables go up to 5-feet by 12-feet, but dual-zone tables can extend up to 30 feet.
Spindles range from 18 to 24 hp and ramp up to 24,000 RPM for extreme precision. Choose between four options for primary spindles, as well as other custom spindles for your application. Whatever additional tooling your application requires, the Ironside 3 has you covered — saws, drills (9-line, 21-line, 35-line), dual heads, 12- or 20-position tool changers and more.
Accurately locate sheets every time with the 1.25-inch diameter steel location pins and achieve even vacuum hold down with our standard aluminum matrix or optional phenolic tables. Our tables accept either cups or pods.
