Ironside R-Series
The Ironside R-Series is a fixed-spec three-axis traveling gantry. It’s a fast and accurate option for shops that want the heavy-built quality of a Northwood CNC machine in a more refined and economical package.
Designed for panel processing and nested-based cabinet manufacturing, the Ironside R-Series comes with one spindle, one tool changer, a 9-inch Z-stroke and an optional 9-line drill. The table comes in three sizes: 4-feet by 8-feet, 5-feet by 10-feet and 5-feet by 12-feet.
Easily cut and form materials that come in a sheet or panel, including some plastics and most woods (MDF, particle board, laminates, plywood, melamine, phenolics).
The Ironside R-Series weighs 12,000 pounds and ships in one piece. When it arrives, there’s no assembly or complicated installation — just place the machine in your shop, connect the power and start making money. Along with its smaller footprint, it even has a lower ceiling clearance for your shop’s convenience.
Every Northwood CNC machine features precision FANUC servo controls, automatic oil lubrication, a year-long subscription to Northwood LIVE and lifetime service and support from U.S.-based technicians.
