Iron Horse XL 3
The Iron Horse XL 3 is a three-axis vertical CNC mill with a fixed table. This vertical bridge mill with a traveling gantry is engineered for metal working applications that need to process heavy ferrous or non-ferrous parts.
Cut big parts made of aluminum, steel, glass, stone and other heavy materials that require flood coolant with the Iron Horse XL 3. With its large work envelope, 20 hp FANUC-driven spindle and 30-inch Z-ram, this CNC machining center is geared toward milling.
The worktable is 13-feet by 8-feet but can be customized as needed. Compared to the industry standard of 4-feet by 2-feet, it’s clear how the Iron Horse XL 3 can increase your shop’s throughput.
The spindle options include an ISO40 taper, as well as an ISO50 taper to accommodate larger tooling. Halo and through-the-spindle tool coolant keep your tooling cool.
Choose between a flat table or a vacuum table, and static automatic tool changer racks or travel-along dynamic automatic tool changers.
