Start machining columns, stairs, pillars and other long, complex parts with precision. This single-zone machine is robust and rigid. Because its bridge is turned 90 degrees, it spans a shorter distance, making it sturdier than comparable machines. Even so, the 5-foot by 12-foot worktable is still large enough to accommodate your needs.  

Because its structural frame allows for a smaller footprint, the Iron Horse Compact 5 is ideal for applications that need fixtures on the table or when large material removal and carving happen inside the enclosure to control contamination.  

To prevent dust and chip contamination, the Iron Horse Compact 5 is fully enclosed and accessible by sliding doors. Upgraded FANUC controls and an articulating head give you the control and efficiency you expect when machining complex geometries, like curves and irregular shapes.  

With the optional sixth-axis rotary indexer, you can machine all sides of a part in one setup. Finish wreathed or square columns and other complex parts by rotating them a full 360 degrees within the work envelope.
