Iron Horse 3
The Iron Horse 3 is a three-axis moving table CNC machine designed for quality and precision. A wide range of industries rely on the Iron Horse 3 for nested-based manufacturing and multi-process machining applications using plastic, aluminum, wood and other materials.
No matter your shop’s footprint or preferences, the Iron Horse 3 has an option for your needs. If you’re looking for a more compact footprint, a wide orientation delivers the precision and efficiency you expect while saving space. For easier access, a narrow orientation allows for access on three sides of the table for easy loading and unloading.
The Iron Horse 3 has an aluminum matrix fixture table and is available in single and twin table variations. For machining large parts, twin tables can lock together to create a bigger work surface. For smaller parts, twin tables with a gap between them allow for pendulum processing with easy access to the tables. This option eliminates idle time and maximizes your machine throughput.
For tooling, the Iron Horse 3 features main spindles and a dynamic “ride-along” automatic tool changer, as well as optional line-boring/drill units. Standard air-cooled spindles start at 18 hp and upgraded liquid-cooled spindles go up to 24 hp.
